4D Times was founded in Zhuhai in September 2014 by Cui Yan, a doctor from Germany and former senior engineer at the German Artificial Intelligence Research Center. It focuses on three-dimensional digital reconstruction and digital virtual display technology and services. Its domestically pioneering three-dimensional digital reconstruction and digital virtual display technology can reach micron-level accuracy. At present, the only one in the world that can achieve this kind of accuracy is the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the United States.

Assisting cultural and museum museums to perform 3D reconstruction of various types of porcelain and cultural relics is one of the main business lines in the four-dimensional era. Cui Yan said that so far, 4D Times has completed digitization projects for nearly 20 museums, including Haihunhou Tomb, Hebei Provincial Museum, and Guangdong Provincial Museum. The cumulative number of clicks on these museums reaches tens of millions every day.
